Prof. Craig Crews Visits TUM for CRC/TRR 387 Lecture Series

It was a great pleasure to welcome Prof. Craig Crews (Yale University), a pioneer in the field of PROTAC technology and targeted protein degradation, to the Technical University of Munich.

On September 17, Prof. Craig Crews joined our CRC/TRR 387 Lecture Series at TranslaTUM, sharing fascinating insights into the development of PROTACs and RIPTACs and highlighting how substrate orientation can define selectivity in targeted protein degradation and proximity-induced pharmacology.

We also enjoyed an excellent presentation by Michael Schottenhammel, showcasing exciting ongoing work from the Crews lab and emerging chemical strategies aimed at tackling autoimmune disease.
